ONGRANADA TRANSPARENCY PORTAL

The Asociación Cluster Granada Plaza Tecnológica y Biotecnológica – onGranada Tech City, is aware of the importance that the practice of communication that is as transparent as possible has acquired in today’s society, not only by legal mandate, but in order to respond to a demand for information and active advertising that is widespread and manifests itself, in particular, in the organizations and companies that are members of onGranada. In this way, they have increased their capacity to access information beyond the usual means, such as governing bodies and the constant reception of information from the organization itself.

This onGranada transparency portal has been created to this end, , featuring information of special importance to the organization that lets it be identified in all its terms, beyond even the content required by law.

The organization’s contact details are also published in order to respond to any legitimate requests for information.

 

Legal and operational structure

The organization was constituted on July 29, 2013, under the provisions of Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, regulating the right to association, as a non-profit association, with full legal capacity and ability to act under the original name “Asociación Granada Plaza Tecnológica”, subsequently changed by decision and will of the General Assembly to “Asociación Cluster Granada Plaza Tecnológica y Biotecnológica”.

 

Purposes and objectives:

The purpose of the Association is to diversify the local and provincial productive and export base of Granada towards intensive sectors in new technologies, in particular:

• Attract the installation of technology-based companies in Granada, especially information and communication technology companies.
• Creation of an area, or taking advantage of an existing one, where the new technologies companies already existing in Granada are grouped together, with the aim of promoting synergies between them.
• Capture investments in high technology in sectors that develop or use new technologies such as: ICTs, Biotechnologies, New Materials, in order to generate new qualified employment and new exports.
• Promote Granada as a technological centre at national and international level, with the aim of improving the viability of companies in Granada.
